This section is dedicated to various community involvement projects that we have either been associated with in the past or are currently involved with. We are all blessed and as good citizens, we should be involved in helping to make our community better.

TangoTab: When you eat, they eat.
TangoTab's mission is to give you the easiest way to feed people in need, in your city. The monetary cost of a meal is donated to a food organization, in your community, when you check-in at a restaurant on the TangoTab app.
My Possibilities: Learn Live Grow
My Possibilities serves as a pioneering leader in vocational education for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Two of the main areas where volunteers are needed are the Educational Programs and Fund Raising. In the Educational Programs, you can assist in a classroom or in a weekend social setting. My Possibilities has several major fund raising events, that support the operations of the center, throughout the year.
Salvation Army: DFW Metroplex
Adopt an Angel and provide a local child in need with gifts from your heart.  Volunteer at a Salvation Army Angel Tree in a mall - or better yet, help sort the gifts in their warehouse.  Volunteer to serve meals either during Thanksgiving or any other time of the year. The Salvation Army's mission is to meet human needs in the name of Jesus Christ without discrimination.
Habitat for Humanity

The key to the success of Habitat for Humanity is its volunteers. Habitat has three areas where people can volunteer. The most widely known is volunteering to build a house. Each house build has a core of experienced volunteers that guide the "off the street" volunteers like us on what to do. Habitat also has a "Brush with Kindness" program in which volunteers help repair an existing home. Finally, there are opportunities to volunteer at a Habitat ReStore to arrange and price merchandise.

If Habitat for Humanity - Collin County is not convenient, check your local city / county as they have operations all across America.

Ronald McDonald House

There are a number of charitable organizations that have decided to receive pop can tabs. The reason they collect only the tabs is that storage is easier and the aluminum is not contaminated by paint or residual soda. While it takes a lot of tabs to make a pound of aluminum (approximately 1,500), the aluminum is sold at the nearest recycling center and the funds are used to help defray the operational cost of the House. This allows for more donated funds to be used for families. Tabs can be dropped off in the bin outside the House any day. You can also sell the tabs (or the whole can) at a recycling center near you and mail the money received to the House as a donation.

Ronald McDonald House - Dallas is located at 4707 Bengal St, Dallas, TX 75235.

Special Olympics Texas
Special Olympics improves their athletes' quality of life, teaching them to embrace challenges with enthusiasm and commitment. In the past, we have volunteered to coach the athletes in various sports, such as track and bocce. Additionally, every year, we help fund raise for the annual ball by asking restaurants to donate a gift card to the organization. The gift cards are placed in envelopes and raffled off at the ball and the funds are used for the athletes' activities. If you would like to help collect gift cards from restaurants, please contact us and we can provide you with forms that will allow the restaurant to deduct the gift from their tax return.
